There was a large turnout of the public for the meetings at Mulugu and Bhupalpally in the erstwhile Warangal district which were addressed by the chief minister Mr K Chandrashekhar Rao. Addressing the people at Mulug, he said as promised he delivered is promise of making Mulugu as new district headquarters but people did not vote for the BRS candidate in the last elections. This time he would insist on seeking their help in winning the seat with a good majority.
KCR said though there was rive Godavari passing by, the Congress governments failed to bring water to people for drinking and irrigation needs. The people should not believe what Congress leaders are saying as they are greedy for power in the state. When the public gave them the mandate they failed to live up to the expectations. They did not even give drinking water to people.
Speaking at the Bhupalpally constituency public meeting, he said the Singareni workers got many benefits under the BRS regime in terms of bonuses and also dependent employment. It was the Congress party that sold the share of the company to the Central government leading to many problems.
However, the BRS government protect the company at any cost and also protects the interests of Singareni workers by all means, he promised. He said if the Congress came to power, people would not get Rythu Bandhu and other welfare schemes including regular electricity. Hence people should vote only for the ruling BRS party for the continuance of all the welfare and development programmes.
