CM KCR filed nomination papers for Gajwel and Kamareddy Assembly seats

BRS chief and Chief Minister KCR, who is contesting for the third time from Gajwel Assembly constituency, submitted his nomination papers to the Election Returning Officer at Gajwel on Thursday. Many BRS leaders participated in this programme. KCR went to Gajwel in a special helicopter from Erravalli. After filing the nomination, KCR left for Kamareddy in a helicopter and filed his nomination papers at Kamareddy.

It may be recalled that CM KCR performed special pooja at Konaipalli Venkateswara Temple in Nangunur mandal of Siddipet district on Saturday. It is customary for CM KCR to take the blessings of Konaipalli Venkateswara Swamy every time before filing the nomination papers.

Every time CM KCR worshiped Lord Venkateshwara at Konaipalli, success came to KCR. Since he won as an MLA for the first time in 1985, during the elections held in 1989, 1994, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2018 nomination papers were placed before the deity. He succeeded in all cases. Another feature is that in 2001, CM KCR resigned from TDP and his Deputy Speaker and MLA posts and he then offered prayers in this temple and announced TRS (now BRS) party.
