Elated at the enthused crowds, he also announced that the state government would soon provide three-phase power to every nook and corner of the tribal habitations. He asked the revenue and police department to dismiss all the cases pending against the tribals on charges of occupying forest land forthwith. “It is not proper to continue the cases on land issues as the state government itself issuing the land rights to tribals,” he pointed out.
Referring to the criticism by the opposition parties on Dharani portal, the chief minister said the portal was a result of much hard work and thorough thought. It is nothing but the digitisation of land records that ensures protection for all landowners. The Congress leaders say they would scrap the portal if they come to power. If the Dharani portal is gone, again people will be put to hardship as the middlemen and brokers resurface leading to corruption. The corrupt staff will manipulate land records.
It is a far cry as the BRS party is poised to come to power for the third time in Telangana state, he asserted. Earlier, Mr KCR inaugurated the new collector office complex, district police headquarters and the BRS party office in the Asifabad district.
