BRS will win over 90 assembly seats: CM KCR tells Khammam leaders

Chief Minister Mr K Chandrashekhar Rao has said the party would win over 90 seats in the forthcoming Assembly elections. The party will win six to seven seats in the erstwhile Khammam district. The district has 10 seats and opposition parties have been claiming that BRS has no ground in the district. Contrary to those claims, KCR said the party would easily win six to seven seats.

Mr KCR met with the party leaders from Khammam district on Wednesday evening. He discussed the party’s affairs and its preparedness for the elections. He instructed them to work unitedly. The leaders and important functionaries should go to people and explain to them the schemes such as Aasara pensions, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, podu land distribution, free power to farmers, and completion of irrigation projects.

“You should all work with a good strategy and ensure excellent results for the BRS party in Khammam district,” Mr KCR stressed. Excluding Khammam district, the BRS is poised to win 85 seats and including the district, it would cross more than 90 seats. The party leaders should spare no effort in making a mark in Khammam district, he said.
