Unlike BRS leader K Chandrasekhar Rao, the leaders in Maharashtra failed to bring about any change in the lives of people. Mr Chandrasekhar Rao within a short time proved himself as a successful leader and a darling of masses. His vision and plans are peerless. The people of Maharashtra want the Telangana model of development at the earliest. They are disgusted with the vote bank politics. BRS leader and nephew of former chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, Sachin Deshmukh said in an interview.
Deshmkuh said he contested in 2019 elections on Shiv Sena ticket. Then the Shiv Sena and BJP came up with Hindu agenda while Congress and NCP came up with secular agenda. But none of them ever bothered about problems facing the people. People and welfare was not on the agenda of any party. They were deprived of even drinking water for decades. That is the reason why he chose to join the BRS where people are at the centre of its agenda. He said he strongly believed in BRS that turned the Telangana state into a role model for the country in nine years.
For instance the Rythu Bandhu scheme was copied by the central government. It did not occur to the BJP government until KCR implemented it in Telangana. Similarly the Rythu Beema, is another unique scheme. “I have no doubt that if BRS eill be voted here, Maharashtra people will stand to benefit immensely under the leadership of KCR. The farmers suicides are more in Vidarbha and Marathwada. Nor just in Maharashtra, but the farmers in the entire country want KCR’s model and his farmer friendly schemes.
Mr Sachin Deshmukh said he pledged to work like a soldier to bring the BRS party to power in Maharashtra. He decided to tour every village explaining to the people about KCR’s agenda about ‘Ab ki bar kisan sarkar’ and Telangana model of development.
