The BRS party will be holding foundation day on April 27 at Telangana Bhavan and organise a massive public meeting at Warangal on October 10. BRS working president K T Rama Rao has asked the party leaders to continue the ongoing people outreach programme – ‘Atmeeya Sammelenams’ till May month end.
In view of the scorching summer, it was decided to hold a delegates’ meeting on April 27 and not the extended or public meeting for now. It would be attended by 300 delegates and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be chairing the meeting, he said.
As a prelude to the foundation day, he directed the party leaders to hold constituency-level party meetings from April 25 with at least 2,500 to 3,000 active and important party functionaries. He wanted the leaders to ensure party flags are hoisted in every village as part of the Jenda Panduga (flag festival).
The party has appointed incharges to various constituencies who would be overseeing the ongoing Atmeeya Sammeleanams and also arrangements for the foundation day celebrations.
