Minister KT Rama Rao said that here are more big plans for the development, said IT minister Mr KT Rama Rao. Within a short span of nine years of rule, the BRS party could put the state on top in many sectors – both in terms of development and welfare. But, a lot more needs to be done and this party has its own strategies, he said.
Mr Rama Rao was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the longest steel flyover in South India extending from Indira Park to VST, the 36th project completed under the SRDP. This was the 20th flyover constructed after the formation of Telangana. There has been tremendous migration to Hyderabad city from both within the country and abroad. People are looking up to the city as it is housing world-class IT companies and industries. On its part, the BRS government had taken up massive infrastructure development at a fast pace.
Mr Rama Rao pointed out that more people are preferring Hyderabad city as it came to be known for excellent law and order management and modern infrastructure. There is no dearth of basic needs like drinking water and electricity supply. “This was made possible by the visionary CM K Chandrashekhar Rao at the helm of affairs. When peace and security prevail, people naturally gravitate towards that place”.
During the successive rule of opposition parties, there were communal tensions, inadequate infrastructure and a lack of basic amenities. That was all history now. The BRS government could tackle every single issue with a deliberate plan and commitment. Unlike other parties which are trying to divide people for their political gains, the BRS is focused on just the development and welfare of people. “All this is only the beginning. You will see much more than this,” he added.
