After entering Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, now the BRS party expanded into Madhya Pradesh. In a big shock to the ruling BJP there, its former MP Budhasen Patel joined the BRS in the presence of its founder and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday.
Those who joined the party from Madhya Pradesh include BSP former MLA Naresh Singh Gurjar, SP Satna former MLA Dheernedra Singh, and scores of other leaders. More leaders of BJP, SP and BSP are expected to join the BRS from Madhya Pradesh. Budhasen Patel who was appointed as the coordinator of Madhya Pradesh by KCR has said soon they would organise a public meeting at Bhopal.
Meanwhile, bowing to the pressure of BRS leaders in Maharashtra the state government has launched a new scheme named ‘Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi’. State Kisan Samithi President of BRS Manik Kadam has described it as the first achievement of his party. He said BRS would continue to fight for justice for the poor and downtrodden.
