The BJP and Congress parties are being directed by the leaders of Andhra Pradesh who are dead against the Telangana state and well being of its people, said Health Minister T Harish Rao. He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Srigiripally office building and distributing cheques under various welfare schemes.
Mr Harish Rao said former CM Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy is controlling the BJP. Being the CM of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, he refused to give a single rupee for Telangana development. He indeed hurled curses at Telangana and said separate statehood to the region will throw it into dark days. The region has no source of power generation and will suffocate.
Similarly, the Congress party is acting at the behest of TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu. TPCC president A Revanth Reddy is his disciple still. The Congress leader in opposition says three hours of power supply is enough and may deny even that if his party comes to power, Mr Harish Rao pointed out. People of Telangana should be wary of these double-tongued leaders.
It is Mr KCR who strived for statehood for the Telangana region and it was he who proved himself to be the well-wisher of the Telangana people. People know very much how they benefitted under the BRS regime and they are sure to strengthen Mr KCR in ensuing elections. However, people should not get carried away by the Congress and BJP leaders who are stooping all low making tall promises only to defeat BRS for their selfish ends.
