CM Revanth Reddy is once again heading to Delhi, marking his 25th visit to the capital since taking office. He is scheduled to attend the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Thursday. He may also meet with party leaders to discuss the expansion of the cabinet and Hyderabad’s development if time permits.
The frequency of his trips to Delhi—25 visits in just 10 months—has sparked widespread criticism. This is the second time within a week that the Chief Minister is traveling to Delhi, and many are questioning the purpose and outcomes of these frequent trips.
Revanth has spent nearly 50 days in Delhi since assuming office, staying for extended periods each visit, ranging from two to five days. Additionally, the CM has spent around 20 days on foreign trips, including visits to Davos in January and the United States in August.
Critics are increasingly asking what tangible benefits these tours have brought to Telangana. Despite reports of securing investment, skeptics argue that nothing substantial has been implemented on the ground.
