Telangana IT minister Mr KTR has said the state will provide 50,000 jobs in the next five years in the IT sector and Warangal will have a major share.
He was attending the anniversary celebrations of a software firm where he said that Warangal has a bright future.
The upcoming mega textile Park will provide jobs to about 20,000 in the next one year.
He said he laid the foundation stone for Kitex, a textile company that will provide jobs to 15,000 people with an investment of Rs 1600 crore.
Mr KTR said he is sure that 20,000 personnel will be working in the textile park in 18 months. The 1300 acre park will house many companies.
After Hyderabad, the Warangal has more educational institutions and a talented workforce. The Warangal has bright chances in all sectors.
The upcoming mega textile Park and the IT companies here will bring back the glory of Warangal.
It may be noted that Warangal had a big textile mill called Azam Jahi mills that was the lifeline of people. It was sold away by the erstwhile Telugu Desam government.
Mr KTR pointed out that Warangal produces the best quality of Cotton that is sought after by the companies across the globe.
