Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region B L Verma visited the upcoming mega textile park at Shayampet in Warangal on Monday. After going through the park and units coming up there, he interacted with the officials of Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC). He went around the facility and inspected the facilities available for the entrepreneurs there.
Later speaking to the media, he said it was amazing to see the textile park and the facilities available there. He wished more units would come up in the park. He said he would like to visit the park once again soon.
Some units have already started production while some others are still under construction. The minister expressed happiness at the park and said once it is fully operational, the area will witness massive development with direct and indirect employment and more businesses coming up around the park.
Mr Verma said he would use his good offices with the Central government and ensure more help from the Centre for the textile park in Warangal. Later, the minister proceeded to visit the historic Ramappa temple in Mulgu district.
