The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) team has lauded the Telangana government’s flagship program – Mission Bhagiratha. The team visited the Mission Bhagiratha plant in Komatibanda in Gajwel and heaped praises on the state government for supplying purified drinking water to every household.
The Mission Bhagiratha officials explained the vision of the project, distribution system, purity of the water and other aspects to the team and told them about the benefits of supplying potable drinking water to each and every house. The UNICEF team also visited the High School in Markook for examining the Mission Bhagiratha drinking water supply in the school and expressed their satisfaction.
