Telangana top state in differently-abled persons welfare: Minister KTR

BRS working president and minister Mr KT Rama Rao has said Telangana is the only state in the country where differently-abled persons welfare is a top priority. The state government is spending over Rs. 10,300 crore for over five lakh differently-abled persons’ pensions. It was revised during the decennial celebrations and CM KCR has planned to increase it further to Rs. 6,000 per month after the elections. Mr Rama Rao was addressing the differently-abled persons persons at the party office.

KTR said soon an exclusive building would be constructed for the disabled to meet, and carry out their work and activities. Since there was an election code, he could not spell out much more though the government had many plans for their welfare. Mr Rama Rao appealed to differently-abled persons to ensure that each of them motivates at least five persons to vote for the BRS. It is our need to strengthen the hands of Mr KCR who is looking after our welfare.

The disability is only physical but they are very strong mentally. They have unusual abilities as god compensates for the loss. The disabled got increased pensions, reservations in jobs and special incentives for marriages among others. Mr Rama Rao said the leaders of various parties are roaming around selling more dreams. The other Rahul Gandhi was talking in Mulugu. He is accompanied by corrupt Revanth Reddy and what could one expect him to talk. He told all lies and talked about dynasty politics, which is nothing but a mockery.

People should not get carried away by what they talk. The disabled have special responsibility to ensure voting for BRS in a big way, he added.
