Telangana police demand unconditional apology from TPCC president Revanth Reddy

The TPCC president Mr A Revanth Reddy lost all his scruples and made uncharitable remarks against the state police. Hurt at his caustic statement, police across the state vented their ire and registered cases in various police stations. Mr Revanth Reddy revealed his brazen arrogance saying that his party is noting the names of police officials in a red diary.

Revanth Reddy said his party will be coming to power in one hundred days from now and action will be taken against those found in their red diary. The police would be beaten up naked when his party came to power. His utterances only manifested how desperate he was. Rachakonda police officers association president Ch Bhadra Reddy condemned his remarks and said it hurt the sentiments and demoralised the police force. The Congress leader should tender a public apology else legal action would be taken against him.

Nagarkurnool district police officers association president Gunavardhan complained to the police. As per their complaint, the police registered a case against Revanth Reddy and AICC secretary Vamshichand Reddy and party leader Sampath Kumar. Cases were booked in various police stations – Mahabubnagar, Jadcherla, Nizamabad, and Adilabad among others.

BRS leader Dasoju Sravan appealed to the Director General of Police, Mr Anjani Kumar to take stringent action against Revanth Reddy for hurting the sentiments and demoralising the police force in the state. “Is this the policy of the Congress party? Revanth Reddy seems to be mentally deranged,” he said.
