The Telangana state is zooming fast on economic growth contributing to the national GDP with 4.52 percent while registering an average growth rate of 5.3 percent while the national average stood at 2.5 percent.
CII in its report observed that the Telangana GSDP is 9.96 lakh crore at the present price index. The national growth rate was 7.5 percent while the Telangana registered a growth rate of 12.6 percent.
The Telangana share in national GDP was 4.38 percent in 2018-19.
The state aims to increase its compound annual growth rate to 20 percent in the next 10 years and has identified 14 sectors for the purpose.
