Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay has openly agreed that there were not enough candidates for his party to contest all the seats in the ensuing Assembly elections. He also said those who win will ultimately join the BRS party. He said he was frustrated as the outsiders who joined the BJP are hatching conspiracies creating chaos in the party. He was addressing the party leaders at Vemulawada on Sunday along with former union minister Prakash Javadekar where he expressed his hopelessness at the party prospects.
The senior who were present there were taken aback at his remarks. They opined that he should not have talked openly. Meanwhile, state BJP unit leaders are divided and groupism came to the fore. Those supporting Eatela Rajender are batting for his appointment as state unit president and floating rumours on social media. However, the party’s high command has no such plans and it wants to go ahead with Bandi Sanjay leading the party till the completion of the ensuing Assembly elections.
Leaders like Konda Vishweswar Reddy, Vivek, Vijay Shanthi and others huddled at the residence of Jitendher Reddy. They apparently are against Eatela Rajender getting any prominent position in the party for now. In case the party gives him any post, they too want to be treated on equal terms. Many within the party who are very loyal and committed opine that since Eatela Rajender joined the party, leaking of internal matters and floating rumours has become the order of the day. They were all against Eatela Rajender and his attitude.
