Telangana continues to top the list in the Swachh Sarvekshan rankings initiated by the Central government. In the latest announcement, the Central government has declared the Jangaon and Kamareddy districts as ‘High Achievers’ and Hanamkonda and Kumuram Bheem Asifabad as ‘Achievers’.
In the high achievers list, the districts that followed are Mancherial, Medchal, Mulugu, Nirmal, Sangareddy, Vikarabad and Bhuvanagiri districts.
In the achievers list, the districts that followed are Khammam, Medak, Nizamabad, Suryapet, Warangal, Nagarkunrool, Adilabad, Bhupalpalli, Narayanapet, Gadwal, Wanaparthy and Rangareddy. Over 400 villages belonging to Telangana state secured special recognition at the national level.
