T-Hub Buzz on Social Media

The launch of T-Hub, India’s largest incubator for start-ups, has generated enormous buzz on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and others. The buzz reached a crescendo by Thursday evening itself as the hashtag #ItStartsHere started trending nationwide on Twitter.

IT Minister KT Rama Rao, who himself is active on social media, ensured that his brainchild got much-needed visibility on social media. In a carefully executed social media strategy, the state IT department released the first set of Sneak Peek photographs and a teaser video of T-Hub about a week before the launch. These photos and video showcasing the state-of-the art infrastructure and modern interiors of the incubator facility, were an instant hit on social media. They were shared worldwide by scores of youngsters, an official release said.

The Digital Media team of the IT Department posted regular updates, photos and videos in the run-up to the launch of T-Hub. These have steadily increased the excitement levels on social media platforms.

KTR led from the front, by coining a cool hashtag #ItStartsHere for the launch of T-Hub. The hashtag symbolized the beginning of the next wave of startup revolution from Hyderabad. The minister posted a picture of himself carrying a placard with the hashtag #ItStartsHere on his official Twitter handle and Facebook Page. Youngsters across the country immediately picked up the theme and started tweeting and posting with the hashtag #ItStartsHere.

As the day of the actual launch approached, several celebrities & sportspersons like Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal, Gutta Jwala and Gagan Narang also tweeted about T-Hub. On the day of the launch, thousands of tweets and Facebook posts flooded the timelines of netizens. People, who attended the event, were sharing their selfies with chief guest Tata and KTR.
