Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said that stupid people keep criticising every government decision without considering its intention. Inaugurating the new secretariat building, he said a section of leaders questioned him on the decision to have new facilities for administration including the secretariat. The reconstruction of buildings was the need of the hour.
The reconstruction of Telangana means reviving the old Kakatiya tanks, ensuring free power for farmers, and making the lives of people comfortable. Wherever needed, the state government went on constructing the new buildings. After the state formation, 33 districts were created. We need to construct collector and SP offices in each of the districts. What was wrong in it,” he sought to know.
The chief minister said the measure of development could be gazed at with the increased per capita income and per capita consumption of power in which Telangana stands top in the country. Of the 94 lakh acres of paddy being cultivated in the country, Telangana cultivates paddy in 54 lakh acres. “Is this not development? In addition, the newly formed state outsmarted Bangalore by registering good growth in the IT sector and many more areas,” he pointed out.
Those who are power-hungry are not able to witness the development and are throwing stones at the state government launching bad propaganda., he said. The chief minister gave credit to every officer involved in the new secretariat building and the overall development of the state.
