Rythu Bandhu disbursal cleared by the Election Commission

The Rythu Bandhu amount disbursal to the farmers was cleared by the Election Commission of India. The Congress leaders have complained and stopped the payment earlier due to ensuing elections.

However, the Election Commission responded positively to the letter written by the state government. Since there were holidays for three days to banks, payment would start from Tuesday. The state government has been providing input assistance under the Rythu Bandhu at the rate of Rs. 5,000 per acre two times a year. So far, in the 11 seasons, it has disbursed Rs. 72,817 crore benefitting around 70 lakh farmers in the Telangana state.

BRS working president Mr K T Rama Rao has appealed to the Election Commission to clear the payment of DA to employees as well. He thanked the commission for allowing the payment of Rythu Bandhu amount to the farmers.
