BRS Working President KT Rama Rao has cautioned the people of Telangana as a serious data breach was suspected with the Praja Palana applications being mishandled. There were numerous reports that the applications filed by the public to avail benefits under Congress government’s six guarantees were scattered on roads and treated carelessly.
Reacting to these incidents, KTR urged the state government to take appropriate precautions to prevent this confidential data from falling into the hands of cybercriminals. “I’ve been watching and hearing from concerned citizens about numerous videos of Praja Palana applications being mishandled carelessly by certain private individuals. These application forms contain sensitive data of crores of Telangana citizens,” said KTR.
The BRS senior leader also took a dig at Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramaraka who remarked that there’s nothing wrong in sharing OTP if someone calls you. “Don’t share OTP or any bank details if someone calls you offering to give pension or house or any of the 6 Guarantees,” said KTR. Furthermore, he advised the public not to unnecessarily lose money by listening to the words of Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka.
