In desperate pursuit of power, the Congress leaders promise Rs. 4,000 or Rs. 40,000 pension. They even promise a heaven on earth. Can they be believed,? asked BRS party working president Mr KT Rama Rao. It is funny to see the Congress leaders begging for one chance from the people. They are not new to the people of the country. Congress ruled for over five decades but did not improve the lot of people.
There was a crisis in power supply, irrigation and pension as low as just Rs. 200 per month. The people are left to their fate. “Now you see CM KCR is giving free power, tap water, enhanced pensions and improved health facilities through a plethora of welfare programmes. Can we afford to lose such a leader and bring back the deceptive Congress party again”, Mr Rama Rao sought to know. He was addressing the party leaders at the party office Telangana Bhavan on Thursday where Tellam Venkat Rao of Bhadrachalam constituency and Dummugudem ZPTC Sita Devi joined the BRS party in the presence of Mr KT Rama Rao.
Mr Tellam Venkat Rao is a hardcore follower of former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy who pledged to defeat BRS in Khammam district. Those who were with him are parting ways to join other political parties realising the hollowness of his claims taking the mighty BRS head-on. Mr Rama Rao asserted that his BRS party is comfortably placed and ahead of all other political parties in the state. It will definitely win all 17 Parliament seats with great ease.
KTR further said the people of Khammam should not have any doubts about the CM KCR’s promises. The CM has decided to develop the temple town Bhadrachalam on par with the Yadadri temple. “The Bhadrachalam Sri Sitarama Swamy temple will witness unexpected transformation much to the delight of the Telangana people and devotees,” Mr Rama Rao said.
