In light of the incessant rains that lashed Hyderabad, posters against TPCC President and Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy have cropped up in the Malkajgiri parliament segment. The posters expressing a visible anger against the parliamentarian read ‘Malkajgiri MP is missing’.
The posters questioned that the MP was missing during the 2020 Hyderabad floods and he also went missing now during the heavy rainfall in 2023. After winning the parliament seat in 2019, Revanth Reddy has neither bothered to visit the constituency nor spoke on behalf of the Malkajgiri people in the Lok Sabha.
Unprecedented and record rainfall has pounded the state in the last few days and instead of standing with the people, Revanth chose to play politics. The TPCC Chief gave a call to the Congress cadre to lay siege to the GHMC office exhibiting a deplorable attitude by politicizing a natural calamity.
