Industries Minister KT Rama Rao met the senior delegation from UAE-India Business Council (UIBC) in Dubai. The delegation was led by Mr Faizal Kottikolan, Founder and Chairman of KEF Holdings. They discussed strategies for strengthening trade and investment linkages between the two countries and how UIBC can play a catalytic role in the process.
The Minister, highlighting the diversity of India, encouraged them to adopt a more focused state-specific approach. He also extended an invitation to UIBC to lead a business delegation to Hyderabad, aiming to explore investment opportunities in Telangana.
UIBC is the Official Joint Business Chamber set up by both the Governments with an aim to create an inclusive bilateral trade environment between UAE and India. The UIBC delegation included Mr Tariq Chauhan, Group CEO of EFS Facilities, Mr Siddharth Balachandran, Executive Chairman and CEO of Buimerc Corporation and Mr Amit Jain, CEO, EMAAR.
