BRS working president KTR has taken legal action against defamatory statements made against him by Congress leaders. In the legal notice, KTR has vehemently denied allegations of involvement in an alleged ‘phone tapping’ issue. The legal notices have been sent to minister Konda Surekha, MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy, and Congress leader KK Mahender Reddy who made baseless remarks on KTR.
The legal notice emphasizes KTR’s impeccable track record as a law-abiding citizen and a man of good repute. It underscores his significant contributions to the development of Telangana State, particularly during his tenure as Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Industries and Commerce, and Information Technology, Electronics and Communications.
The notice vehemently denies and asserts that the accusations made by the Congress leaders are baseless and malicious, aimed at tarnishing KTR’s reputation and goodwill. Furthermore, the legal notice points out the potential consequences of such defamatory remarks, indicating the impact on KTR’s public image and credibility, both locally and internationally. It stresses the urgency for the immediate withdrawal of the statements and demands an unconditional public apology within a specified timeframe.
The legal notice warned that failure to comply with the demands outlined within the stipulated period would result in the initiation of necessary legal action, including civil and criminal proceedings, and could include seeking appropriate damages.
