BRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has said the people of the country should stop voting for the political parties that are spreading hatred and dividing people on caste and religious lines. As the government institutions failed to stall the parties that are hell-bent on winning the elections even at the cost of the welfare of the people, the citizens of the country should take responsibility now. Mr Rao was addressing over 200 leaders of various political parties from Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra who came to join the BRS party on Sunday at Hyderabad.
The BRS is getting tremendous patronage from the people of Madhya Pradesh after Maharashtra where the party has a presence at the grassroots level. CM KCR said the country needs people with generous hearts and wise minds. Just voting in one party and voting out one party would not help bring any change in the system. People should choose wisely and elect the party that is committed to the welfare of the country. He said the country is endowed with abundant natural resources – land, water and minerals. They were not put to use for the good of the people during the last 75 years of independence.

The BRS government within two years solved the electricity problem and started providing free quality and uninterrupted power to farmers and other marginalised sections. This is possible to implement all across the country. Sadly we lack committed leadership except for power mongers, he said.
BRS is not a political party but a mission committed for the welfare of people, CM KCR added.
