KCR moves Supreme Court against electricity commission

BRS Party president KCR has approached the Supreme Court to challenge the High Court’s verdict regarding the Justice Narasimha Reddy Commission. The commission was appointed to review power purchases with Chhattisgarh and the establishment of the Yadadri and Bhadradri thermal power stations in Telangana in KCR’s tenure as the Chief Minister.

KCR initially filed a petition in the High Court against the Government Order (GO) 9 issued by the previous Congress government on March 14. However, the High Court dismissed his petition. In response, KCR has now escalated the matter to the Supreme Court.

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear KCR’s petition on Monday.
