KCR is the champion of farmers’ causes: Minister Harish Rao

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is the only champion of farmers causes and he always cares for them. The lives of farmers were bettered under the BRS regime with a visionary CM at the helm of affairs. Mr KCR was responsible for free power, and input assistance under Rythu Bandhu, and Rythu Bima for distressed families. He ensured an enhanced pension of Rs. 2,000 the underprivileged which was just Rs. 200 under the Congress regime, said Health Minister T Harish Rao.

Laying the foundation for the foundation stone for the medical college at Meerkhanpet in Rangareddy district with minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on Sunday, he said the Telangana government has established 29 medical colleges in the last nine years and even those who get a rank over one lakh will get a seat now. A total of 10,000 doctors will be produced every year by the Telangana state which is a record in the country.

Mr Harish Rao said a massive exercise is underway for the party’s manifesto. The opposition parties will surprise at the BRS manifesto. It will have a dedicated scheme for every section. It will say what to do for the farmers, youth, widows, women, youth and disabled persons. The people in villages are very happy today under the leadership of Mr KCR. They saw the results of ‘Palle Pragathi’ which ensured clean and green environment everywhere. The quaint villages were magically transformed with all facilities – plantation, drains, roads, nurseries, graveyards and what not. “All the Gram Panchayats are thoroughly empowered now. Huge funds were given to every panchayat and many villages won national awards in the recent past,” he pointed out.
