With the aspirants demanding tickets, the Congress Bhavan turned into a “Dharna Chowk”. Senior leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy’s followers created a ruckus on Tuesday. They demanded that the ticket should be given to their leader. They said they would not work for the party if the ticket is given to the recently joined leader K. Rajesh Reddy.
Meanwhile TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy and MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy are fighting over Ibrahimpatnam’s ticket. Revanth Reddy is favouring former MLA M. Rangareddy while Venkatreddy is opposing him. Congress party workers from Goshamahal also staged a protest at Gandhi Bhavan demanding a ticket for the local leaders. TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy has warned the party workers not to stage any protest at Gandhi Bhavan. He threatened to suspend them from the party.
