The chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhara Rao inspected the ongoing construction of the new secretariat building here.
He went round facilities coming up at the building namely security, helipad, parking, beautification, guest houses and furniture.
Interacting with the officials there he said the new secretariat building should reflect the aspirations of people and should be a proud one for Telangana state.
Municipal administration minister Mr KTR said the new state of the art secretariat building is named after Dr B R Ambedkar and it would be inaugurated in a few months.
The CM KCR took it up this prestigious building to his heart and has been reviewing it from time to time. He has been guiding the officials on facilities and beautification at the new secretariat building.
A huge statue of Ambedkar is coming behind the new building and the CM said it would remind the officials of their duties and will inspire them constantly.
Meanwhile the chief minister instructed the officials to carry out repairs to all roads. The work should begin by December. Special funds for the purpose would be sanctioned.
