With the state government focusing more on infrastructure development in the state capital, Hyderabad city has witnessed phenomenal development. The Outer Ring Road, metro rail and the proposal of a Regional Ring Road have completely transformed the city making it a more congenial place for people from across the globe.
With industry-friendly policies, the city has already become a preferred destination for major companies. Now with improved infrastructure, it has emerged as a people-friendly city. The city witnessed a craze among people for the double bedroom housing and the real estate sector is thriving catering to the needs of the middle classes who form a major chunk of clientele. According to a survey, about 47 per cent of people are preferring 2BHK houses and 45% are preferring 3BHK houses.
With the expansion of metro rail and roads under the Strategic Road Development Programme, the city is expanding leaps and bounds with internal roads. New colonies and habitations have come up beyond the city limits of late. Now the whole city is covered by rail and road connectivity all around making it a hassle-free travel to residents and tourists. The city has witnessed increased purchasing power of the people and improvement in quality of life as well.
