People need to dump the parties which deceived them for decades and patronise that party that served them better, said Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao. Commissioning the cable bridge built across the river Manair in Karimnagar district on Wednesday, he said under the aegis of BRS government, every section of society benefitted cutting across the caste and religious lines.
The leadership of visionary CM KCR helped the state witness rapid development on all fronts – development and welfare. People should differentiate between those making false promises and dividing people on every count and those really committed to their welfare. For instance, those who saw Karimnagar district some years ago can get to know the difference now. There is enormous development in the district for the past nine years.
The cable bridge of 1.80 kilometres built across the river Manair costing Rs. 224 crore has a four-lane road. It eases the traffic congestion besides becoming a tourist attraction. Mr Rama Rao said the Manair riverfront is being developed and beautified. It would become another tourist attraction in the district.
Mr Rama Rao asked people to think all these were possible had there been a government as was in the past. Only the BRS party has got that sense of responsibility and belonging with people. “We have Chief Minister KCR who always thinks this is my Telangana and I should go out of the way to do something good to this land and people,” the minister said adding that he expected people to bless and support Mr KCR in the forthcoming Assembly elections. He wanted them to vote for BRS in a big way and make KCR CM once again.
