Cricketer Ambati Rayudu all praise for Kaleshwaram Project

Former Indian Cricketer Ambati Rayudu heaped praises on the Kaleshwaram Project. During an interview with a Telugu news channel, Rayudu said that the project is ensuring abundant water in the state.

Rayudu, who is preparing the ground to make a foray into Andhra Pradesh politics, said that the Kaleshwaram Project is an eye-opener for him and one of the motivational factors to consider entering politics. “A few years back I bought land in Siddipet. Back then, I could only water my trees on alternate days, but now there is abundant water. The reason behind it is the Kaleshwaram Project,” the right-handed batsman said.

Rayudu added that the project of such scale made him realise that only politics can create such a huge impact in a short span of time. Rayudu, who hails from Guntur, played for the Hyderabad Ranji team and he was also a key player of the five-time IPL champion teams – Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
