Congress party is synonymous with scandals: Minister KTR

The Congress party that ruled the country over four decades touting false dreams lost public patronage across the country. The leaders were engaged in amassing wealth rather than minding the welfare of the people, pointed out BRS working president Mr KT Rama Rao. Addressing gatherings at a series of programmes in Nizamabad on Wednesday, Minister KT Rama Rao said the local Congress leaders had freedom only to pocket money and were dependent on Delhi for decisions on the development and welfare of people. “For the BRS party, people are bosses and we are always with people. We act at the behest of the people of Telangana addressing their needs,” he explained.

As the elections are nearing, Congress leaders are approaching people with false promises. If we believe them, it will spell doom to us,” he told the cheering crowds. The BJP is no different from the Congress. If TPCC president A Revanth Reddy proved himself to be a betrayer of the cause of separate Telangana, the BJP MP D Aravind is known for instigating people on caste, creed and religious lines.

People of Telangana should remember that both the BJP and Congress leaders will not be available here. They will be hanging at the doorsteps of their bosses in Delhi. Unlike them, the BRS leaders will be among people always available and accessible. “They are slaves of their Delhi bosses with no power to make decisions on their own”.

In desperation for power, the Congress leaders are stooping too low making very bad and uncivilised remarks on Chief Minister Mr KCR and his party. People should teach a lesson to both the BJP and Congress parties. The Congress while in power did not bother to fulfil the aspirations of the people and the present BJP-led government at the Centre is discriminating against the Telangana state refusing to fulfil the promises made in the bifurcation Act. Mr Rama Rao took part in various programmes inaugurating new facilities such as the IT tower, NAC and Municipal buildings among others in Nizamabad town.
