In a significant political development, the vice chairman of Adilabad Municipality, Zaheer Ramzani, has been ousted from his position following a successful no-confidence motion. The motion saw overwhelming support, with 34 out of the 49 municipality members voting in favor of it.
Notably, the motion garnered cross-party support, including members from Zaheer Ramzani’s own Congress party. The no-confidence motion was initiated by the BRS party and received backing from councilors across the political spectrum, including those from BRS, BJP, Congress, and MIM.
Municipal Chairman Jogu Premender remarked that the vice chairman’s departure was a result of collaborative efforts from all parties.
