The Congress party that has lost its hold across the country is facing a different crisis in Telangana state. It lost its originality as all the senior and loyal leaders are leaving the party while those from TDP are filling it up under the leadership of Revanth Reddy.
Ever Since Revanth Reddy was given TPCC president post, he has been acting like an autocratic, throwing away all the party norms. The seniors are ignored and humiliated. He has been encouraging his old colleagues of the Telugu Desam Party to join him in the Congress. Those who joined the Congress from the TDP include; D Seetakka, Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, Vijayarama Rao, Vem Narender Reddy, and Revuri Prakash Reddy. These are only a few names.
But those left the Congress party number over 30. Prominent among them include; Ponnala Laxmaiah, DK Aruna, M Shashidhar Reddy, Nagam Janardhan Reddy, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Sambani Chandrasekhar, P Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Cheruku Sudhakar and many others. Several other seniors are waiting patiently to strike him at the right moment and deal a blow that would finish him forever.
