Congress senior leader K Jana Reddy has said he never aspired for any post but they came in his way. He said that no Chief Minister ever handled so many portfolios as he did. “I am not seeking to b CM but it is the other way round. I may take that position as well soon after the election,” he said. He said he is not contesting assembly elections. In the event he becomes the CM, his son would resign as MLA to facilitate him to get elected within six months.
The Congress party neither released its total list nor the polling took place in Telangana state. But too many Congress leaders are claiming the post of Chief Minister. TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and others too went on record stating that they have all the experience needed to become Chief Minister.
At a time when the party is going in tatters with rebels pledging to defeat the party, these leaders are day dreaming of becoming Chief Minister. Their actual contribution is insignificant to the party as they are limited to their constituencies. Beyond their constituency, their influence is zero.
