The BRS public meeting witnessed a huge turnout at Jabinda grounds in Aurangabad. Mr KCR delivered an eloquent speech and enthralled the audience with facts and figures.
When the country is endowed with perennial rivers why the successive governments failed to provide drinking water, KCR sought to know. He posed why Shambhaji Nagar gets water once in a week even after 75 years of independence. Why people should be denied and deprived of their due in welfare and development. Nobody knows what is happening in the country.
The rich are becoming richer and the poor are becoming poorer. How long people should wait. It is time for change and use vote as a weapon to bring a change now, Mr KCR said. He urged people to keep faith in BRS that was not founded based on caste and religion.
The BRS received a resounding patronage from the people of Maharashtra and poised to change the political scenario in the ensuing local body elections as said by BRS founder KCR. Scores of leaders joined the party attracted by welfare schemes being implemented in Telangana state. The general public patronage was unexpected in Maharashtra.
