CM KCR reviews situation after sudden rainfall in the state

Chief Minister Mr K Chandrashekhar Rao took stock of the situation after the untimely rains hit the state. Crop losses were reported in Karimnagar and other places. The CM has directed the chief secretary A Santhi Kumari to ensure proper survey of exact crop loss in the state. He has asked her to get reports from the district collectors on enumeration of crop damage in their respective districts in the state.

It may be noted that CM KCR has undertaken a whirlwind tour to several districts after the sudden hailstorm hit the state last month. He then announced a compensation of Rs. 10,000 per acre to the farmers whose crops were damaged due to hailstorm.
