BJP dug its own grave in Delhi liquor policy case

The BJP leaders who were targeting the Opposition party leaders across the country by unleashing the Enforcement Directorate, Income Tax and Central Bureau of Investigation were thoroughly exposed. The ED had to tender an apology to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh.

The ED officials named Sanjay Singh in their chargesheet and he moved the Court. After verifying their chargesheet, the ED officials described it as a clerical error and tendered an apology. But by that time, the damage has been done. A section of the media went to town tarnishing the image of AAP leader.

Now doubts are cast on the ED and the BJP that was apparently behind the alleged liquor policy case. AAP leader and New Delhi chief minister Aravind Kejriwal described the whole alleged liquor case as fake and motivated by the BJP. The ED officials proved to be so callous in their functioning and now one doubts if the names of BRS leaders they took are genuine. Not only the elected members of BRS but even the names of their relatives are being dragged to the streets by the ED.

Leaders of various political parties across the country have been accusing the BJP of misusing its power and instigating the ED and other agencies to go after parties that are opposed to their hegemony. It is high time that the BJP hangs its head in shame.
