BRS working president KTR warned that he would launch a ‘Shrama Danam’ if the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) authorities fail to respond to a citizen’s plea.
A user named Sumanth raised a civic issue on the social media platform, tagging former municipal minister KTR. “Urgent issue: Our colony, with 50 families and children, faces snake threats due to overgrown trees. Despite complaints, GHMC and the Mayor are unresponsive. We also lack drinking water and proper roads, with no night security and frequent robberies. Please help,” wrote Sumanth.
Responding to the post, KTR gave a 48-hour ultimatum to the civic body to resolve the issue. “I request the GHMC Commissioner to respond at the earliest and do the needful. If we don’t get a response within 48 hours, we, along with local citizens, will be compelled to launch a ‘Shrama Danam’ program and do it ourselves,” warned KTR.
