Agriculture minister S Niranjan Reddy said in the first two days the state government has disbursed Rs 1820.70 crore to 16.32 lakh farmers holding two acres of land.
Those holding five acres of land will get the benefit in the next two days. Those holding above 10 acre will only get Rs 250 acres.under ninth phase the government will be disbursing Rs 7,508 crore taking the total to Rs 50,448 crore so far for the ninth time, the minister said.
The minister asked farmers not to panic over the rythu bandhu amount as all the eligible will get their benefit in a phased manner. He asked them not to believe in rumors being spread by congrats BJP leaders.
It was the brainchild of farmers and it is a prestigious programme of tge Telangana government, he said.
Farmers across the state ate in jubilant mood for two days as they were able to get rythu bandhu.
