There were no sufficient number of vegetable and non veg markets in Hyderabad to cater to the existing population, observed CM KCR. He said he was amazed at Monda Market which was built during Nizam time.
Modern markets are being built scientifically. There were four or five markets in Hyderabad. Now in separate Telangana the state government is building modern vegetable markets in all Assembly constituencies, CM KCR said.
He opined there should be one market for every two lakh population. He said he came to know that Narayanpet market was built superbly. officials were earlier taken on a study tour to Monda market، he reminded۔
