Pandit M Narayan Reddy, Nizamabad Ex-MP is one of the first generation Telangana leaders, who is continuing the struggle even to this day. He was active in the first statehood struggle of 1950s, even before Telangana was merged with Andhra. Narayan Reddy also was witness to the famous speech of Nehru in Nizamabad, announcing the merger of Telangana with Andhra.
