The BRS party is bracing up for the ensuing elections and has decided to activate the 60 lakh party members and the general public.
In a teleconference held with the district unit presidents and general secretaries, Mr KTR directed the party leaders and elected representatives to organise one meeting taking villages or wards as one unit. They should stay put in their respective areas and be accessible to people. The details of the meetings, place and the schedule planned should be sent to the party office.
Mr KTR wanted the leaders to ensure all the district offices are inaugurated before the foundation day in April. They should coordinate with the state office for the purpose.
On June 1, the Telangana martyrs memorial will be inaugurated by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The party leaders should organise similar programmes in their respective districts as well.
Similarly, Ambedkar Jayanthi celebrations should also be held grandly all over the state. The tallest statue of B R Ambedkar behind the secretariat would be unveiled by the chief minister on April 14. The BRS party has been perpetuating the ideals of Dr B R Ambedkar and no other party is doing.
Mr KTR further said at the beginning of the new academic year in June 2023-2024, the BRS Students Wing should undertake a series of awareness programmes. The BRS working president said he would soon call for a meeting with party presidents of all districts.
