People welfare is our priority, minister KTR

Keeping his promise of reviewing the development of Nalgonda every three months, Municipal administration minister KTR held a marathon review meeting over the development of Nalgonda district.
During the Munugodu by-election, he promised to hold a review meeting once in three months.
On Thursday, accpsnied by the ministers G Jagadishwar Reddy, V Prashanth Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Satyavathi Rathod, Mr KTR interacted with the officials over needs of the people and what they were expecting from the government.
Thanking the Munugodu people for their patronisation in the by-election, he said the development of all the 12 assembly constituencies of united Nalgonda will be their priority.
Various government departments were ready with their proposals with an estimate of total Rs 1,544 crore and they will be executed in the next one year.
Mr KTR observed that there was an increase of groundwater level of 2.41 metres in Nalgonda district.
Soon the state government is coming up with a 10 point development plan in all the municipalities across the state. Of the total 142 municipalities, 26 municipalities bagged Swacha Sarvekshan awards. Sanitation and infrastructure will be developed further in all urban local bodies with the new plan, he said.
