CM KCR is angry over the hike in fertiliser prices and blasts BJP.

Telangana chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao lashed out at BJP at Centre for increasing fertilisers prices by 50 per cent burdening the farmers in the country.

Stating that he would write a letter to the centre, he said the BJP boasted that it will double the income of farmers by 2022 only left them in the lurch. The new farm laws and now hike in fertilisers prices and other anti-farmer decisions indicate some conspiracy of BJP against the farmers in the country.

Calling upon the farmers to question the BJP leaders all over, Mr KCR called for a nationwide agitation over the issue. “The BJP scrapped the decade’s long subsidy on fertilisers which is nothing but vengeance against farmers by the BJP,” the chief minister opined.

Mr KCR said every the fertiliser companies increased the prices; the Centre comes out with interventions such as extending subsidies to farmers. But the present BJP government at Centre remained silent.

The increased prices of fertilisers result in increased input costs of Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000 per acre for farmers.

The BJP is refusing to buy the paddy and help farmers in any manner. It is time now that people rooted out the BJP from the country.

Mr KCR called upon all farmers and like-minded political parties to come together to wage a struggle against the BJP and unseat it from power at the earliest.
