We aim at building a ‘Green Hyderabad’: GHMC Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan 

Stressing the importance of increasing the green cover in the region, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan stated that the government is planning to plant 10 crore saplings in GHMC limits in the coming five years.

Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan participated in ‘Haritha Haram’ program in Delhi Public School in Hyderabad along with Uppal MLA Bethi Subhash Reddy and GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore also participated in the program.

Addressing the students of Delhi Public School, Mayor Bontu Rammohan said, “We all must grow plants with social responsibility.” He urged the students to plant saplings and strive for protecting the environment.

During his speech, Mr. Ram Mohan stated that the government is planting three crore saplings in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits, this year alone. “We aim at building a clean and green Hyderabad and an action plan is already in place,” he said.
