The Telangana NRI Association (TENA) has announced ‘Telangana Renaissance Awards-2014’ to persons who excelled in different fields. The awards would be given at a function to be held in the Telugu University auditorium on January 23.
The winners are: Gaddar – Chindu Yellamma Award (cultural arts); Kapilavayi Lingamurthy – Kaloji Narayana Rao Award (literature); Bammagani Mallesh Goud – Prof. Jayashankar Award (sociological research); Pasunuri Ravinder – Suravaram Prathap Reddy Award (new writer); Rakesh Dubbudu – Kumram Bheem Award (social change and development); R. Akhileshwari – Shoebullah Khan Award (journalism).
